About the podcast series

Pharmacy technicians are registered healthcare professionals who have been a regulated profession for more than ten years. These coffee break conversation podcasts showcase the diverse roles they play in delivering pharmacy practice and patient care.

Series 1

This series was published between September and December 2022. In July 2024 two new bonus episodes were published which focus on the contribution pharmacy technicians play in working with schools, supporting families and helping young people with their medicines.

Series 2

In the first episode of the series Claire Dearden, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s and NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service National Pharmacy Technician Fellow, talks about her career journey and her fellowship role. Claire also gives a taster of what’s coming in series 2 of the podcast, which will be published in autumn 2024.
