Claire is a diabetes and endocrinology specialist pharmacist with a keen interest in insulin safety and the role of pharmacy teams in improving care for people living with diabetes. Claire is working on a short-term project with SPS around insulin safety. She has a background in secondary care in acute and emergency medicine.

Day to day Claire works providing pharmaceutical advice and patient-facing care for management of people with diabetes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Claire’s other roles encompass quality improvement and safety around diabetes and insulin management and guideline development for the North East.
