Why it’s important
This webinar provided an opportunity to hear from two prisons that have implemented 28-day repeat prescriptions, focusing on the key elements of their plans and processes.
It also shared information about the Health and Justice pharmacy workforce and how it has changed since 2019, providing context for the delivery of clinical pharmacy services and integration with local regional workforce planning.
Practitioners also had the opportunity to hear about key programmes and updates as we transition to commissioning by the Offices of Pan-ICB Commissioning (OPICS).
