This drop-in session will explore designing and building aseptic services clean rooms.
Why it’s important
Building, validating, or significantly upgrading a pharmacy aseptic clean room suite is a task which many pharmacy staff will be involved in only once in their careers. New aseptic and radiopharmacy clean room suites are complex, expensive, and governed by strict regulatory requirements.
It is essential to take a systematic approach to ensure clean room suites are fit for their intended use.
This session will explore:
- the importance of planning when designing and building pharmacy clean rooms
- the fundamentals of building a business case
- the qualification stages when bringing a clean room into use
- perspectives and learning from recent experience
